Description
The motif depicts the three stars that provide blessing (Fu, Lu Shou). It has a heavy and thick body, typical of mid-Qing bronzes; most bronzes made during late Qing and the Republic have thinner and lighter bodies. It shape imitates Kangxi porcelain Gu vases (see P. 192 of 耿寶昌的“明清瓷器鑒定(ISBN 962-321-012-5). From a California collector. H. 19.9 cm, Weight: 614 g.
