Monroe company which also produced the popular Wavecrest line, primarily did decoration and many of their blanks came from Mt. Washington. The Nakara line is rarer and harder to find than similar examples of Wavecrest and often a more beautifully decorated piece.This one is not a transfer, but is a beautifully hand painted floral design and beaded enamel. Even though it is rarer than Wavecrest, the value of these is usually not the rarity, but the beauty and this one tops off near the top of the scale while also0 being. rare.
