New York Central Lines Railroad China Park Avenue Plate 8" An 8" china plate for the New York Central Lines in the Park Avenue pattern top marked with gold decorations and bottom marked O.P.Co. Syracuse China. The pattern dates to the 1920s and is believed to have seen business car use. The gold shows mild wear with discoloration but does not appear to be worn down. The plate shows a few minor scratches, discoloration along the edge, and stacking wear. The front shows leftover adhesive marks and a visible 6" crack across the plate. There is a small chip in the crack near the decorative border. The crack is also visible from the bottom and there is a 1/4" chip on the foot along the crack, as well as a 1/2" glaze crack nearby.
