Mixed Group of Railroad Paper - Magazines, Annual Reports, Photographs, Maps, World's Fair Booklets, and More A mixed group of railroad paper including a binder with ten Erie employee magazines spanning 1942 to 1954 and annual reports for 1941, 1942, and 1943. Another notable item includes a binder for Steam Locomotives Built by The Brooks Locomotive Works with nine pages of information, newspaper clipping, and photographs from the late 1800s. Another binder for Canals with over 40 pages of photographs, descriptions, newspaper clippings, maps, brochure, and more for C&O, Lehigh, and Delaware. A spiral binder with 20 pages of photographs and descriptions for Meeting of the Rails, The building of the Central Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads 1863-1869. 1864 Bacon's Railway and Commercial Map of England & Wales with fold out paper map on cloth, showing wear to the cover, writing marks inside the cover, discoloration from age, and some holes in the cloth at the corner folds. Eleven black and white photographs of various locomotives, train yards, and lanterns, as well as a few color photographs for foreign railroads. Other items include 1940 Coronation Scot New York World's Fair booklets, 1939 New York World's Fair Pullman Exhibit booklet, foreign railway booklets, and 1952 The Railroad Story magazine. The papers vary in condition from good to fair and show general to moderate signs of use with writing marks, creases, tears, wrinkles, discoloration, and some stain spots.
