Five (5) assorted Confederate Infantry buttons consisting of: Albert #CS-175, Tice #CS1212a2, 22.5 mm, Confederate manuscript "I", back mark: for Alabama retailer "Halfmann & Taylor/Montgomery; Albert #CS-177a, 22.5 mm, Confederate script "I", back mark: "Isaacs & Campbell/71 Jermyn St"; Albert #CS-172a1 22 mm, Confederate "lined" I, back mark: "Superior Quality"; Albert #CS-181, 22 mm, Confederate block letter "I" button, back mark: "E.M.L. & C/Richmond VA."; & Albert #CS-172 22 mm, Confederate block letter "I" button, without back mark.
From the Collection of John F. Bradbury, Jr., longtime archivist and director of the State Historical Society of Missouri?s Rolla Research Center in Phelps County. John was a historian specializing in the Civil War period with a dedicated and distinguished career to studying and promoting the history of the Missouri Ozarks region.
