All but 'Mr. Tod' with no copyright dates, (Mr. Tod copyright 1912,) all published by F. Warne & Co, four with color pictorial end papers showing various Beatrix Potter animal characters each with the book in which they feature; The Tale of Mr. Tod has color pictorial end papers with animals watching a billboard advertising the Peter Rabbit Books. All with red calf spines. One with inscription in ink: 'Clarence Chase from his Mother, Aug. 11, 1911. These in green marbled box. Also included: The Tale of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, F. Warner & Co. pub., Copyright 1905, with inscription; ;To Clarence from Santa, December 25, 1912'; and The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher, F. Warne & Co. pub., Copyright 1906, with ink inscription: 'Son Chase, Dec. 25, 1912'; a later edition of The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher, F. Warne & Co pub, Copyright 1906 renewed 1934, with glossy white book jacket, beneath which the top and bottom edges of the front and back boards are very chipped and worn, though otherwise condition is very good. Finally, The Tale of Tuppenny by Beatrix Potter, illustrated by Marie Angel, ('The Text of this story is taken from A History of the Writings of Beatrix Potter') pub. Frederic Warne & Co. Inc.
