A Set of Six Luneville Majolica Asparagus Plates
France, late 19th century until 1914, each plate created in a leaf shape upon which rests two relief molded asparagus spears, (4) plates bear the impressed stamp "MAJOLICA LUNEVILLE" to the underside.
Each 5 3/4 x 10 in.
Luneville majolica is noted for production of asparagus and artichoke serving plates and their use of bold turquoise and green colors.
