Fritz Keck (American/PA, 20th C) – Pascal’s Tailor Shop – Depicting the outside of Pascal’s Tailor Shop with a view of Webster Ave, looking east towards Erin St. Giclee is on canvas board, in a gilt frame. Signed in the print on the lower left. / Fritz Keck is a well-known native Pittsburgh Artist. He grew up in Edgewood and graduated from Carnegie Mellon University. Keck took old black and white archival photos donated from local entities and brought them to life through oil on canvas. Giclees were made of the original oils. These paintings reflect the region’s history in steel making, mining, ethnic neighborhoods, trolleys, rivers, and other iconic subjects.
