the first, compote, mark of Black Starr & Frost, pattern number 5660, reticulated form with gadrooning to rim and base (4 x 6 5/8 in. dia.); the second, a bon bon bowl, mark of Gorham, pattern number 141, engraved monogram to underside (5 3/4 in.); third, a pair salt and pepper shakers, mark of Reed and Barton, pattern number 49, weighted (5 1/4 in.). the last, a candle holding tray, "W" mark impressed to underside, scrolled rim (6 1/2 in.).
