Louis XVI Beechwood Fauteuil, stamped J. B. Lelarge (Jean-Baptiste III Lelarge, French, 1743-1802, maitre ebeniste in Paris, 1775), with oval moulded upholstered back, scrolling arms above a serpentine seat with paterae headed tapering stop-fluted legs terminating in toupie feet, after models by Henri Jacob (French, 1753-1824) and Georges Jacob (1739?1814), the chair ca. 1770s, signed on underside of seat rail with stamp. 35" H x 23.5" W x 19" D; seat: 16.5" H.
