Op. #55 Hanna-Barbera’s Tom & Jerry Oldsmobile Car in BoxThis piece is a tin, lithographed, battery-operated #55 Hanna-Barbera’s Tom & Jerry Oldsmobile car in box that was manufactured by Rico of Alicante, Spain. This is a really neat piece that is bright and colorful and just plain fun! Not only is it an Oldsmobile it is Tom & Jerry! Tom & Jerry and the cheese in the back seat are made of soft vinyl. The black rubber tires are still intact, but as per usual with toys of this age, they may have petrified, discolored, warped, and/or cracked. We did not notice any issues with the motor works and the wheels roll as they should.The battery compartment is clean and free of corrosion.The box is in great condition and very bright, it is just all around a very fun toy to have.This piece is in near-mint all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch-ups. This piece shows the usual patina, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, and wear that are to be expected from age and display. It is approximately 14? L x 6. It is an amazing little survivor!
