Description
A consolidated Russian Four Percent Railway Bond of 125 rubles in gold of the 2nd series, issued by the Imperial Russian Government on the basis of the Highest Decree of December 30, 1889. The bond is drawn up in Russian, English and German. Has watermarks. On the reverse side at the top left there is a stamp in French indicating the dates 1918 and 1919. Such consolidated bonds of the Russian Railways were issued by the Ministry of Finance on behalf of the Russian Government to cover the needs of large railway companies for bond capital.
