This jet stone bottle, likely from the late Mesopotamian period, dates back to the 2nd millennium BC. It measures 4 cm by 3 cm, or 1.57 inches by 1.18 inches. Carved from jet, a lignite coal derivative, this bottle could have been used for holding precious substances.
