A leather wastepaper basket, c.1945, by Paul Dupré-Lafon (French, 1900-1972) and Hermès, of square tapering form with stitched detailing, stamped in gilt 'Hermès-Paris Depose' to the underneath, 25cm square 35cm high Condition Report: With scratches throughout. Some minor gouges to the leather. With wear to the rim. The foot with remnants of glue - possibly reheated and seeped out. The corners with rips to the underneath of the rim.
