Group of four unframed ornithological etchings after Prideaux John Selby (English, 1788-1867), each laid down on paper, one matted, comprising: a Gooseander, Female; a Scaup Duck; a Sparrow Hawk, Male; and a Black Headed Gull. Some dated in pencil, 1834, and most signed in the plate. Provenance: Phyllis Lucas Gallery, NYC. [Each, overall: 20 1/4" H x 25 1/8" W]. Small scattered tears and losses to edges, toning.
