Presenting an original vintage 1960s Eero Aarnio purple ball chair for Asko Finland. This chair is an icon of 60s and beyond for its unique and playful design. This wondrous chair features a fiberglass construction with a soft wool upholstery on the interior. These chairs came in a variety of bright colorful fabrics. Our particular chair is draped in a rich purple coloration with matching cushions. The fiberglass ball sits and swivels on a round steel lacquered base. The original Asko manufacturer agreed to can be found on the underside of the chair as pictured above. This chair is in very good vintage condition, but has some falling upholstery n the upper sides on the interior. This piece measures approximately 48 inches tall, 47 inches wide, and 40 inches deep.
