Description
Charles Robert Ashbee (United Kingdom 1863-1942), Arts & Crafts sterling silver pierced and lidded biscuit barrel, 1899, having a domed lid with a glass stone finial, with overall hammered finish, pierced floral body, and raised on a circular foot, hallmarks to underside of lid and upper body. Note Ashbee set up the 'Guild and School of Handicraf'" in 1888.

Small stable crack to stone. A few scattered dings to body, dented foot. Faint surface wear including scratches and scuffing. Small chip to glass liner
