Description
Victorian sterling silver tankard, with marks of Barnard & Sons Limited (John, Edward, Walter, and John, British 1868-1875), London 1868, having a gold washed interior, engraved 'Edmund Armour July 26, 1899. From Edmund Gosse,'and stamped hallmarks to the underside.
Provenance: Previously sold American Art Association, The Library Of The Late George Allison Armour (American 1856-1936), Princeton, New Jersey, April 22-23, 1937.
Provenance: From the Private Collection of Tania Armour Becker, Atlanta, Georgia.
