Collagraph on foil paper by Marilyn Sica, 1932 to 2022, an American artist. The piece represents an abstract polychrome composition with ornamental centerpiece. Titled Toltec underneath. Numbered 8 out of 112 in the lower left. Signed by the artist in the lower right. Black mat, golden frame. The Toltec was a pre-Columbian Mesoamerican culture that ruled a state centered in modern Mexico from ca. 950 to 1150 CE. The Aztec culture considered the Toltec to be their predecessors.
