Description
circa 1865, hand crafted house by the Mott Family at Knotts Berry Farm in CA, the exterior is clapboard & painted white, there are six large rooms on front of house and six large room on back, all viewing is done through plexiglass, some plexiglass plate panels slide open. The entire attic space is partitioned into rooms, three porches, two on sides and one in front, numerous windows can be found throughout w/awnings, the roof is shingled and stained brown. The house is furnished w/old and hand-crafted pieces, many items are glued down in cupboards and on tables, the house is incredibly detailed w/tiny objects glued down such as the dining room is loaded with china, (mainly mass produced porcelain pcs), furniture throughout the house is old pine or hand-crafted new items of the 1950's-1960's. Some unusual details, closet w/clothes, collection of butterflies framed, the floor boards in house are scored to resemble hardwood floors in a real home. The house comes apart in two sections, elaborate staircase w/carved spindles and newel posts. 42" h. x 88" l. x 46" w.
