Frank Weston Benson
Massachusetts,1862-1951
Titled "A Pair of Yellowlegs," depicts two yellowlegs standing in shallow water. Benson studied at the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston, and with Gustave Boulanger and Jules Lefebvre at the Academie Julian in Paris. The work comes with "The Sporting Art of Frank W. Benson" by Faith Andrews Bedford.
