Description
This is a Fitchburg Railroad 1880 Hoosac Tunnel Route public timetable. While the timetable does not have a date on it, we were able to do research to narrow down the right date by coordinating the dates of service of John Adams, General Superitendent; F.L.Parker, Traffic Manager; and S.W. Cummings, General Passenger and Ticket Agent, who were listed on the piece. Has 24 paneled pages (12 to a side) and is printed on one large piece of paper. Schedules for the road and its connector lines are on one side, along with a city of Boston map, while the inside has a complete map of the Fitchburg route and connectors, as well as the railroads of the central and eastern USA. Fine used condition, with tears/frays on the edges or folks only. The Fitchburg RR became part of the Boston and Maine in 1919. B and M enthusiasts will definitely want to add this piece to their collection!
