"This parrot is no more! He has ceased to be!". The face of British comedy changed forever when, on Sunday 5th October 1969, Monty Python's Flying Circus aired its first episode on the BBC. A strange but hilarious sketch show with no punchlines and a "stream of consciousness" narrative. This lot consists of a Films Illustrated magazine signed by all six "Pythons" Graham Chapman, Terry Jones, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam. Also included is a signed printed image of Terry Gilliam and a mini poster of "A Liar's Autobiography: The Untrue Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman", signed by Michael Palin, Terry Jones and co-writer Barry Cryer.
