Description
An antique Japanese Edo period ukiyo-e woodblock art print triptych, produced circa 19th Century, or possibly earlier, in the style of Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Kunisada, and similar artists. Figural works depicting courtesans, samurai, and daimyo lords, with interior decor elements, samurai katana sword, and other forms. Multiple character and signature marks to each. Presented under glass in a rustic wood frame. Each panel's sight size measures approximately 13.75" x 9.65".
Dimensions: 19 X 36 X .5 in.
Condition: Fair condition having mild age related surface wear, toning and evidence of surface wrinkling in places. Frame having mild to moderate wear to edges and corners and diagonal crack to glass in lower right corner. Estate fresh to the market.
