An estate collection of 21 primitive tools, decorative objects, and instruments by Native American, African, and Oceanic tribal artists. Includes: one (1) spear form paddle with carved tribal designs to front (54" x 5" x 1"); one (1) tribal hollowed cylindrical form tool with encircling carved botanical designs with dual scalloped prongs to tip (39" x 1.5" x 1.5"); two (2) carved wood walking sticks, one with alligator design, the other with rattan cane decorations (larger measures approximately 36" x 1.75" x 1.75"); one (1) Native American Cherokee tribal tomahawk hatchet ax with stone head and blade and wood shaft handle, signed by artist Lex Owl (1953-2017), with original COA (23" x 6.5" x 1"); one (1) Native American Cherokee tribal ceremonial gourd rattle with figural design to head and face, and leather wrapped wood shaft handle, signed by artist Lex Owl (1953-2017) (17" x 2.5" x 2.5"); six (6) primitive indigenous wood implements carved by native Papua New Guinea artisans, in various designs and patterns (largest measures approximately 27.5" x 2" x .25"); one (1) pair of aboriginal Australian musical sticks with carved indigenous designs, both impressed EUMUNDI MARKETS (11" x 1.5" x 1.5"); one (1) native artisan made wood cylindrical form musical flute instrument with rope cord embellishments (22" x 1.75" x 1.75"); one (1) native artisan made wood and mixed media musical ukulele form instrument (21" x 4.5" x 3"); one (1) native artisan made paddle form grinder or pestle (12.25" x 3.25" x 1.25"); two (2) native artisan carved wood knives sticks, one with mother of pearl inlay to handle (larger measures approximately 10.65" x .75" x .25"); one (1) stone fishing weight with rattan frame (5" x 2.5" x 2"); and one (1) native made palm frond fan (20.5" x 5.5" x 1"). Provenance: From the private collection of a world traveler and gallerist.

Dimensions: 54 X 5 X 1 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having mild to moderate age and use related wear. Rattle having damage to head. Estate fresh to the market.
