Serge was apparently well-enough known throughout France, at least, to be identified in print by a single moniker – be it surname or given. This specific volume is rather well-known and referenced in European writings. It is not easy to find – particularly in tact (the text is printed on a pulp stock, but the images are on a much better grade of glossy paper). The author’s cartoon-like sketches are whimsical and warm: worth the price of admission alone, as one would say. And the gallery of his own photographs is exceptional, as well. VG, with slight foxing to front paper cover, a firm binding/spine, and clean pages from cover to cover.
