SIN, 1970, (Engberg 41; Cirrus pg. 338), color screenprint on Louvain Opaque Cover paper, signed and numbered edition of 150 in pencil, printed and published by Cirrus with blind stamp lower left, image 13 x 21 ½”, sheet 19 x 26 ½”, frame 22 ¼ x 30 ¼” Plexiglas replacing glass and museum-quality mat. Ed Ruscha, along with Jasper Johns and Jim Dine, is one of the last great living American artists from the Pop Art Era. Artprice ranks him 11th in worldwide status. Ed Ruscha “Now Then” retrospective at LACMA opens April 7th through October 6th 2024.
Condition
Faint tide line discoloration in the background visible in raking light, some tiny silverfish loss in the margins at the sheet edges, flattened creases upper right corner margin and center right margin, small scrape and tiny gouge upper sheet edge right, otherwise in good condition with strong colors.
