Description
This is an original, circa 1987, Stan Bentall sterling silver large feather pattern earrings with fantastic Southwestern art appeal. Stan Bentall is an artist from Santa Fe, New Mexico, best known for his bronze artwork. He also created several large three-dimensional sterling silver and 14k gold jewelry pieces. Bentall created his large jewelry with the lost wax method or the French term Cire Perdue. His large bolo necklaces and earrings are hard-to-find and have a classic Southwestern design focusing on animal effigies and feathers. The earrings show sterling silver feathers dangling from a sterling silver concho ball stud. The feathers have a classic design and are well kept, being solid silver. These were purchased directly with the bolo from the artist back in 1990. Each earring measures 2.5?L by 5/8?W. Total weight of 13.8g.*
