Item Details

Description

Featured in this lot is this WWII German officers swrod ACS Alcoso marked. The sword features a wonderfully and professionally crafted stainless steel construction that shows a black iron sheath with a belt ring and a sliger in the mouth of the sheath with a bakelite wire wrapped handle that shows a stainless steel cross guard and hilt. The sword is marked with a ASC and a scale hallmark on the inside of the sheath guard. The condition of this sword is well preserved for its age that shows some wear to the sheath, and the blade shows some slight patina but otherwise is well preserved. The measurements of this sword in its sheath is 41" x 5 1/2" x 1" and the blade length is 35 1/4".
