Description

Very fine and quite large pair of Victorian carved pedestals. 19th century with presumably the original marble insets. All hand carved with winged angels and wreath motif. Good overall condition given the age. (Candelabra not included.)Approximately 21 inches wide by 21 inches in depth. The fmarble measures at approximately 17 and 7/8” x 17 and 7/8inches. The pedestals stand at approximately 42 inches high. They can accommodate heavy sculpture if need be. These are very substantial period pedestals. Highly sculptural, carved in high relief. One of a kind!!
