Switzerland, a 19th century pivoted detent pocket chronometer, 18 jewels, key wind and set, cotes de Geneve decorated, decoratively fretted nickel plate fusee movement with pivoted detent escapement and cut bimetallic balance with gold screws and spherical balance spring, single sunk white enamel dial marked "Dent London" with gilt and blued steel hands, now in a nickel, snap back and bezel display case
Condition
CASE: Case later; A few minor dings and case knife marks; Very fine scratches. DIAL: Glued chips, 4:00. HANDS: Replaced. MOVEMENT PLATES: Very fine scratches; Small cluster of tiny dings and minor marring over fusee; Fretting later; Balance and detent cock screws are incorrect replacements. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks), circa 1870
