Inside label reads: Russell Modes.- Kalamazoo, Mich. stand up satin trim, dark flowers on right side, needs to be steamed. -Small straw bonnet with long satin ties, widow peak in front. -Lovely straw hat 1900, with shiny black feathers. A black satin flap trails off the back of the hat. No ties but elastic band to hold it in place.
