AGS CERTIFIED #11225. SST. An exceptional example of this C. 1920's self-framed tin sign from Francisco Auto Heaters featuring an automobile driving through snow graphic. The lithography and details throughout this sign are stunning and remain in excellent shape. CONDITION: The field of this sign retains good colors with the original satin-matte finish from the factory. There are a few tiny spots scattered throughout the field where slight discoloration is present. This is very minor, however, and does not detract from the stunning visuals. There is one mentionable area of paint loss near the upper right corner, as well as, very insignificant paint loss to the original factory mounting holes. The heavily embossed self-frame retains bold gold paint with only the slightest areas of paint loss, most notably on the right side of the border. This desirable and rare sign is seldom seen this clean and is a great piece of advertising (SCORE 87).
