Description
Brass Bell with "Break Glass" activation button and waterproof red light, with bronze fitted red painted cast iron casing, mounted on oak plaque and wired for home display. Brass plate on top of bell cowling reads "Queen Mary, 24-1090". 27" x 12", breakaway glass has been replaced with acetate (allowing suppression of the button to cause working bell to ring, the light also functions.The RMS Queen Mary sailed from 1936 to 1967 for the Cunard-White Star Line, with the interruption of WWII and was built by John Brown & Company in Clydebank, Scotland.
