**Originally Listed At $350**

Northern/Central Europe, Celtic culture, ca. 700 BCE to 100 CE. A collection of 7 leaded-bronze rings of various sizes with several have faint traces of gilt! The rings present as simple rounded bands with a rich patina and mineral deposits that have developed on the surfaces. These bronze pieces were likely money rings that were worn tied to clothing for safekeeping and could then be used to trade for other goods. Size (largest ring): 1.5" Diameter x 0.2" W (3.8 cm x 0.5 cm)

Provenance: private collection of the late Karming Wong, approximate date of acquisition: late 1970s to early 1980s

Age and exposure commensurate weathering, minor surface abrasions and nicks, otherwise all rings are intact! Mineral and earthen deposits throughout with green patina and some gilt visible!
