Native American, Northwest Coast, First Nations / Canada, ca. mid-20th century CE. An attractive wood totem pole hand-carved by a First Nations artist for the Hudson's Bay Company. The stylized post features a thunderbird with spread wings perched atop the head of a badger who sits on a whale. Size: 8.7" W x 12.3" H (22.1 cm x 31.2 cm)
