Description
This pair of colored lithographs are both pencil signed lower right. They are both from Carlos Merida's (Guatemala, 1891-1984) series called "Carnival in Mexico". One print depicts two men in yellow costumes wearing masks from Huixquilucan at the fiesta of the Huehuenches, and the other is of two men from Huejotzingo wearing blue garments. The series number is unknown, and they have not been inspected outside of their frames. Both are housed in black painted frames with woven burlap mats. The frames have a few scuffs and the prints have signs of toning. The sight areas measure 13" x 11", and the frames measure 23" x 19". In-house shipping is available. Please see our website regarding our in-house shipping procedures.
