Description
A wrought iron fireplace screen with silhouetted horses backed by a removable mesh panel, attributed to Atelier Marolles (France) circa third quarter 20th century. In the years immediately following the Second World War, designer Jean Touret founded Atelier Marolles with a handful craftsmen in Marolles, a commune in northern France.
Measures 31 1/2" x 38 1/2" x 13".
