Offered here for your consideration is a carved stone and 18K gold necklace with a turtle theme. It originally came from the Forest Fenn collection. This necklace features ten carved stones which look to be jasper, resembling a tortoise and tortoise shells between 18K gold hand stamped barrel beads, all strung or linked with heavy wire. The pendant features a carved stone turtle resting in a circular gold and stone setting. The double bails are each accented with a round gold disc with tiny dotted designs. This carved stone and gold necklace will make quite a statement when worn on your favorite outfit. This item came to our seller from Forrest Fenn (our seller was actually a partner with Fenn on a large ruins in NM and they were friends). Fenn had a very eclectic collection of fine arts from around the world. He was famous for the Fenn Treasure, which was a cache of gold and jewels that Forrest Fenn hid in the Rocky Mountains and treasure hunters spent years looking for.
