Emperor Khai Dinh's Carved Jade "Golden Years" Statuette From Imperial Office (From a Vietnamese Royal Family) - This magnificent piece is a hand carved Annamese jade offering signifying the "Golden Years". The piece is carved with seven goldfish swimming up waterfalls, known to represent prosperity and good luck in Feng Shui. This piece comes from the estate of a Vietnamese Royal Family (the family now lives in the United States, and wishes to remain private as they still have relatives living in Vietnam). According to our sellers, this piece was used in the Imperial office of the 12th Nguyen Emperor Khai Dinh.
