The case of a rectangular form with rounded corners, the lid is finely engraved with a townscape with a church, peasants and animals. Gold washed interior. Marked: Mappin and Webb Ltd., a Birmingham anchor mark, lion passant assay mark for sterling silver, date letter G for 1931.
