2-pc sanforized grey taxi cloth work uniform w/ MOP buttons, sewn on industrial chainstitch machine, c. 1935, label “Washington Dee-Cee, Made of Genuine Taxi-Kloth”, shirt CH 44”, L 32”, trousers W 36”, Inseam 31”, (discoloration, few tiny holes) good; 1 grey embroidered black silk velvet in floral & arabesque motif, silk satin lapel, slash pocket binding, black silk taffeta lining, c. 1972, label “A. Sulka & Co.”, SH-SH 19”, CH 44”, L 32”, (1” tear rt underarm, small light stains, light wear/few pulls) very good; 2-pc cream wool & linen blend suit, double breasted coat w/ MOP buttons & trousers, c. 1935, label “Tailored by Goodall, Palm Beach”, W 28”, Inseam 30” (discoloration, 1 broken button) good. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum to benefit collections care, preservation and future acquisitions.
