A late 19th/early 20th century German polished brass mounted and oak stained carved wood novelty tower clock and barometer compendium
the whole with carved faux stonework and quoining and tiled steeple roof with elaborate foliate finial, the angled upper section fitted twin clock faces with rope twist bezels above folate scroll and thistle border, the 3' dials with plated Roman chapter rings and engraved centres with fleur-de-lis hands, the lower section with inset 3' plated barometer dial, the corners with bold angle buttresses, on chamfered square base, raised on Renaissance style recumbent lion feet, the brass twin spring driven movement with Brocot type suspension driving the slave dial and striking on steel gong, with pendulum, 70cm high overall
