Sixteen Framed Railroad Locomotive Photographs and Prints - Nickel Plate Road, Reading, Erie, and More
A group of sixteen framed railroad photographs and prints featuring locomotives. Black and white photographs include a New York, West Shore & Buffalo 2-8-0 locomotive, a Delaware and Hudson Canal Co. type 2-6-0 locomotive No. 304, Long Island Railroad Locomotive No. 134 type 4-6-0 built 1911, Nickle Plate Road Locomotive No. 74 Type S4 built 1951, Reading Crusader, Rinconada Ferro Carril del Puente by Danforth Locomotive and Machine Co. Builder No. 1305, Baldwin Flexible Beam Truck Locomotive "Santiago De Cuba" at Baldwin Works 1866, a locomotive along the shore, Engine No. 26 with heavy smoke, Erie Railroad at Lanesboro, Pennsylvania by Robert Collins, a pair of photographs for Manitou & Pikes Peak Railway from the 1950s at the summit. A color photograph of Erie No. 834. Prints include a train through town, a color print of Erie No. 803, and Starucca Viaduct. Also includes a signed and numbered print No. 464 of 764 of The Show at Starruca Viaduct by Joseph W. Woltcheck 1984. The frame has broken glass at the bottom right corner and shows discoloration along the edges. Group varies in condition from minimal to moderate signs of wear with waviness, discoloration, stains along the edges, wear along the edges, and minor tears. The frames have added labels. Most of the items are in good condition. The largest frame measures approximately 20" x 15".
