Description
Regula clock with green patina and opalescent glassrepresenting the Greek mythological story of the torment of Sisyphus pushing a rock for eternity. Cast metal and molded opalescent glass on Onyx resting on a black marble base. Paris, France, ca. 1930. Very good antique condition. The lamp and clock work but the cable needs a new plug. Also, there is a chip to one of the backside onyx corners (see pictures). Incredibly decorative and powerful piece. Measures approx. 14 3/4" high x 25 3/8" long x 5 1/2" deep (base).
