Description

Harry Bertoia (Italian born American, 1915-1978) studied at Detroit's Cass Technical High School, the College for Creative Studies and the Cranbrook Academy of Art. The Bird chair was designed by Bertoia in 1952. This set is in black wire with black Knoll upholstery. Knoll labels remain under the ottoman. Height of chair 39", width 38", depth 33". Condition

There is some rust on the wire under the chair. I found no breaks on either piece. The fabric could use a cleaning but does not show heavy wear.
