The Badan pattern is composed of hand fans, balloons, umbrellas and floral sprigs arranged in horizontal rows, a pattern known to have been produced by several of the Indo European entrepreneurs. There is a dainty inner border of tiny Ixora flowers interspersed with a three leaf motif on a square-dotted background of "drizzling rain."
