An early splint basket and decoys and decoy heads. The splint basket with single loop handle is in good condition - 18"L x13 1/2"W x 11"H (top of handle). The largest decoy appears to be a Mason decoy with glass eyes - paint wear and age check at base. The smaller decoy has a loose head. Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
