Grouping of mostly 19th century photos including: Two CDV albums of mostly family portraits, both books incomplete (first book with 21 images including Maximillian and Carlotta and second book 18 images of tintypes and CDV's - one of lady holding a CDV photo album and 2 others with girls holding books); 15 other portrait tintypes and 155 portrait CDV's - many CDV's have been clipped at corners, some with staining but many in very good condition includes CDVs of Prince of Wales and girl holding doll; 2 miniature circular tintypes; several damaged cased photos with missing parts; and 4 glass photos of family groups including family dog, circa 1900, in original box - each 3 1/4" x 4". Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
