George Nakashima 'Origins' gentleman's cabinet for Widdicomb, Model 214 made in USA, 1958. American black walnut, Carpathian elm, brass. The cabinet features eleven drawers and one door concealing an adjustable shelf area. Signed with branded manufacturer's mark to drawer: [George Nakashima]. This chest appears to have a recent refinishing.

Condition

Overall Very Good. There is a scratch on the lower left corner of the cabinet door, and a chip along the back right corner as well as two marks on the right side. There are also missing shelves from the interior cabinet door.
